1. About Us
TopRentals Event & Party Co. ("we", "us", "our") is a premium online party rental platform registered in Nigeria. We provide high-quality logistics, structural event equipment, sound engineering, and full event setup services across Lagos and surrounding states.
2. Booking & Payment
- A minimum 50% deposit is required to formally reserve inventory and secure event dates. Unpaid quotes do not guarantee inventory availability.
- Full balance clearance is mandatory 48 hours prior to the scheduled delivery window.
- We accept electronic bank transfers, Paystack (Credit/Debit Card), and USSD. Cash payments are not accepted at the delivery site.
- A refundable caution deposit of ₦50,000–₦200,000 applies to all orders, scaled based on the total inventory value.
- Prices are subject to market changes, but finalized invoices are price-locked upon receipt of deposit.
3. Delivery & Setup
- Standard delivery and professional structural setup are calculated into your final quote based on your specified delivery zone.
- Standard operational hours: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM. After-hours or night-time retrievals attract an out-of-hours logistical surcharge.
- The client must ensure clear, unobstructed access to the venue and designate an on-site representative to sign off on the delivery manifest.
- TopRentals is not liable for schedule delays caused by severe traffic, extreme weather events, or venue access restrictions beyond our direct control.
4. Cancellation & Refunds
- 72+ hours before event: Full refund minus a 5% administrative processing fee.
- 48–72 hours before event: 50% refund of the total booking value.
- Less than 48 hours: No refund. Items have been exclusively reserved and removed from our active rental pool.
- Bespoke Items: Any custom-printed, fabricated, or personalized inventory is strictly non-refundable once production has commenced.
5. Damage & Liability
- Standard wear and tear (minor scuffs) is expected and fully covered.
- The client assumes full financial responsibility for any theft, loss, or critical damage occurring between delivery sign-off and our retrieval.
- Irreparable damage (burns, deep cuts, permanent wax/ink stains, bent frames) will be billed at current market replacement cost plus a 30% logistics handling fee.
- We strongly recommend securing short-term event insurance for high-value installations or multi-day rentals.
6. Customer Responsibilities
- Provide accurate GPS coordinates, venue rules, and specific access requirements prior to the delivery date.
- Ensure all rented assets are adequately protected from rain, extreme elements, and unauthorized public misuse.
- Inventory must not be sub-rented, loaned, or relocated to a different venue without explicit written consent from TopRentals management.
- All items (especially catering and serving ware) must be returned reasonably clean and free of excessive food waste.
7. Platform Usage & Security
- Users must provide accurate, current, and complete information during the checkout.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your booking references.
8. Intellectual Property
All digital content on TopRentals.ng—including textual copy, custom graphics, logos, platform UI/UX, and proprietary software—is the exclusive property of Top Rentals Limited and is protected by Nigerian and international copyright laws. Unauthorized scraping, copying, or commercial reproduction is strictly prohibited.
9. Force Majeure
We shall not be held liable or deemed in breach of contract for any failure or delay in performance resulting directly or indirectly from circumstances beyond our reasonable control. This includes acts of God, natural disasters, severe flooding, national strikes, government lockdowns, or sudden fuel/transportation crises.
10. Privacy & Media
By utilizing our setup services, you grant TopRentals permission to capture anonymous, non-intrusive photographs and video footage of our equipment architecture at your event for promotional portfolio use (Website, Instagram, internal catalogs). We enforce strict privacy protocols and will never publish sensitive personal details, guest faces, or specific location data without your prior consent.
11. Contact & Disputes
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to first attempt an amicable resolution through direct communication.
